A Tribute Walk & Butterfly Release

“Steps of Hope: A tribute walk with butterfly release” has been a tradition for the past 4 years. Due to the coronavirus and safety being paramount, we held the 2020 event virtually.

Our 5th annual Steps of Hope will maintained the components of our past events. While we didn’t “walk” together, we invited registrants to send us a picture of their loved one to be included in a video. Our music therapists performed 2 original songs. Viewers “met” the grief services counselors, manager, program coordinators and the “Steps” committee that is made up of several bereavement volunteers.

After the event, we invited viewers to continue the “healing” component by joining our new Facebook group to share images of you taking a walk, creating a butterfly craft and remembering your loved ones and using #StepsofHope2020

We look forward to being with you for our 5th annual event. Stay tuned for more information
