How Can Counseling and Support Help You?
Counseling and Support Is Here to Help
We can offer your family counseling and support through every stage of serious illness—from making sense of treatment options to coping with caregiver stress or coming to terms with the death of a loved one.
Our counselors are available to help patients, families and the community with grieving, as well as honoring and remembering loved ones. Gilchrist provides several counseling options that are available to the community.
Gilchrist’s volunteers are invaluable to the care we provide families and the community. They assist staff with administrative work, they honor veterans during special ceremonies, they act as ambassadors to educate the community, and they provide support to families before and after the death of a loved one.
Care navigators are there to answer questions you have about care for you or your loved one and can also connect you to numerous resources. They will talk with you to find out your needs and advise you on care options that are available to you or your loved one.
